Moving abroad is a major life decision. You shouldn’t have to navigate it alone.
ViaMonde was founded from an understanding of what it takes to build a life in another country — and how difficult it can be to know which decisions to make, in what order, and who to trust along the way.
Today, ViaMonde helps people move to Italy and Spain, bringing together the strategy, coordination and specialist expertise needed to make international moves more manageable. A move rarely involves just one decision. ViaMonde exists to see those connections and help you navigate them as one plan.
One coordinated team. The right expertise at the right time
Strategy
Understanding your circumstances, goals and options before deciding what needs to happen.
Client Coordination
Keeping the different moving parts connected as your plans progress.
Specialist Expertise
Bringing in the appropriate legal, property, immigration and other professional specialists when their expertise is required.
Our role is to help you understand the bigger picture, determine what needs to happen next and coordinate the people who can help make it happen. You have a clear relationship with ViaMonde while the appropriate specialists handle the areas that require their expertise.
A team built around the client, not around a single expert.

Jennifer
Founder
Jennifer founded ViaMonde after building her own life abroad and experiencing firsthand how fragmented an international move can become. Having moved internationally multiple times herself, she brings both personal experience and strategic perspective to the decisions clients face before making a move.
Today, her role is increasingly focused on advising clients whose plans involve several interconnected pieces—citizenship, visas, property, timing, finances, family considerations, and the practical realities of starting a life in another country.
Jennifer believes clients are best served by a team that understands the whole picture, not a collection of disconnected providers. ViaMonde’s core team works together internally, sharing context and coordinating across each stage of the process.

Maggie
Partner & Chief Growth Officer
Maggie is often the first person a prospective client speaks with at ViaMonde. Her role is to understand where you are now, what you’re hoping to accomplish, and what questions need answering before you decide how to move forward.
She helps clients make sense of the early stages of relocating to Italy or pursuing Italian citizenship and connects them with the right members of the ViaMonde team.
Alongside Bethany, Maggie also manages our clients throughout their work with ViaMonde, helping keep cases moving, coordinating with the team, and making sure clients understand what comes next. She also plays a central role in shaping the client experience at ViaMonde, helping ensure each client is matched with the right strategy, team, and next steps from the outset.

Bethany
Client Coordination & Support
A former teacher, Bethany manages client case preparation for Italy, including citizenship and visa matters. Creative, compassionate, and highly organized, she brings structure and clarity to processes that often involve a lot of moving parts.
Bethany works closely with clients throughout their case, coordinating documentation, tracking progress, identifying what still needs to be resolved, and helping make sure each step is prepared carefully before it moves forward.
Her role is to keep the bigger strategy and the practical execution connected—making sure details are not overlooked, communication stays clear, and clients know what is happening, what is needed, and what comes next.

Avv. Alberto Lama
Constitutional Attorney | Italy
Avv. Alberto Lama brings deep experience in constitutional law and complex Italian citizenship matters, particularly cases requiring high-level legal analysis, judicial strategy, or litigation.
Having lived abroad himself and working comfortably in English, Alberto brings an international perspective to clients navigating the Italian legal system. He understands both the legal complexity of these cases and the practical challenges faced by clients living outside Italy.
His work includes matters involving constitutional questions and proceedings connected to Italy’s Constitutional Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union, giving ViaMonde clients access to sophisticated legal analysis when a citizenship case moves beyond the administrative level.

Carla
On-the-Ground Support | Italy
Carla grew up between the United States and Italy as the daughter of a diplomat, giving her an instinctive understanding of both cultures and how to navigate between them.
She supports clients on the ground in Italy with housing arrangements and property visits, local appointments, records work, and the practical problem-solving that often makes the difference between a plan on paper and one that actually works.
Fluent in the rhythms, expectations, and unwritten rules of Italian bureaucracy, Carla has a particular talent for working with local comuni and finding practical ways forward when a process becomes complicated.

Alonzo
Property Search & Relocation
Alonzo leads property-search and relocation support, helping define the brief, evaluate options and manage the local property work.

Adele
Residency & Relocation Support | Spain
Adele supports Spanish-side documentation, application support, appointments, insurance, housing logistics and the administrative details that continue through arrival and residency.
You get a team, not a collection of providers.
When several professionals are involved in an international move, the client can easily become the person responsible for connecting them all. That’s not how we work.
ViaMonde keeps the different pieces connected to your overall plan. Our job is to make sure those pieces work together as clearly and efficiently as possible.

Many of our clients become part of our community.
Over the years we’ve celebrated citizenship, retirement, new homes, family visits, birthdays, language milestones and countless ordinary moments that quietly became extraordinary. Many clients become neighbors. Some become collaborators. Some become lifelong friends. That’s one of the unexpected gifts of building a life abroad.
Recognized for the work we do.
ViaMonde has been featured in CNN, Business Insider, Fodor’s Travel, AFAR, Euronews, MSN, Yahoo, Wanderlust, The Washington Post, The Local and other publications covering international relocation, citizenship, property and life abroad.
